Christopher George appeared as a member of the legal team representing the Arima Borough Corporation, together with Farai Hove Masaisai and Bernelle La Foucade.The proceedings concerned the alleged cessation of salary and employment of a municipal police officer and raised questions concerning the relationship between a municipal corporation and the Statutory Authorities Service Commission, the identity of the relevant employer, limitation, breach of contract and the distinction between ordinary civil proceedings and constitutional or public-law remedies.High Court Judge Karen Reid dismissed the Corporation's application to strike out the claim and permitted the underlying proceedings to continue.

Christopher B.A. George acted for Louis Andre Monteil in major multibillion-dollar litigation arising from the collapse of CLICO and the CL Financial group.The matter proceeded to trial before Justice Robin Mohammed in January 2026. Christopher George undertook substantive trial advocacy, including the cross-examination of former Governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Ewart Williams concerning regulatory oversight, investigations undertaken by the Inspector of Financial Institutions and matters relating to CLICO's statutory fund.On 26 January 2026, after approximately fifteen years of litigation, the Central Bank and CLICO discontinued the claim. No determination of liability was made on the substantive allegations.
